The British Dyslexia Association campaigns for a dyslexia-friendly society in which all dyslexic people can reach their potential. As the only impartial and objective dyslexia-focussed membership-based organisation in the UK, the BDA delivers support and information to over 6 million people throughout the country.
Dyslexia Action
Dyslexia Action is the UK's leading provider of services and support for people with dyslexia and literacy difficulties. It specialises in assessments, teaching and training as well as developing and distributing teaching materials and undertaking research. Dyslexia Action is committed to improving public policy and practice. It partners schools, local authorities, colleges, universities, employers, voluntary sector organisations and the government to improve the quality and quantity of help for people with dyslexia and specific learning difficulties.
Dyslexia Scotland
Dyslexia Scotland is the voluntary organisation representing the needs and interests of dyslexic people in Scotland. Dyslexia Scotland gives support and promotes good practice by means of a Dyslexia Helpline: 0844 800 84 84 - Monday to Friday from 10am until 4pm. It maintains a database of qualified tutors and specialist teachers and runs joint projects with practitioners and providers involved in the field of dyslexia. Other activities include co-ordination of national projects, organising conferences, seminars, workshops and training sessions, awareness-raising campaigns and road shows. It has a network of branches and support groups that run local projects, fieldwork and fundraising. Dyslexia Scotland also produces magazines and information packs, disseminates research findings and reports, and provides briefings and consultations for policy-makers.
Adult Dyslexia Organisation
The Adult Dyslexia Organisation (ADO) is a national body for adult dyslexics. It is run by dyslexics for dyslexics and all those who are concerned with adult dyslexics, and provides a wide range of services to the public and to professionals. The ADO exist to promote the cause of adults with dyslexia through lobbying, research, training and campaigning. A principal aim is to create awareness about dyslexia and to ensure that the needs of dyslexics are considered in the design and delivery of services.

Dyslexia Assessment & Consultancy is a team of dyslexia experts specialising in workplace and educational consultancy. It provides diagnostic assessments for dyslexia and other specific learning difficulties. It offers specialist individual skills training for adults with dyslexia and dyspraxia, including study skills for students and workplace skills training for employees. It also provides a consultancy service to employers, giving advice on reasonable adjustments and dyslexia / disability awareness training. It undertakes legal work, including legal assessment and it provides an expert witness service. Where appropriate, a workplace needs assessment is conducted. Recommendations are made for appropriate reasonable adjustments at work, as well as a training programme and items of equipment that will support the individual. The report can be used to apply for Access to Work funding.

The Dyslexia Teaching Centre is a busy teaching and assessment centre in the middle of London. It provides highly qualified, specialist teaching support for children and adults of all ages, enabling individuals to acquire the skills needed for success.
